I don't really mind riding in the rain-when it's a warm rain like this morning, it's actually kind of enjoyable. It helps to have rain gear, especially rain pants and dri-socks.
I got caught in a gully washer this morning on my way to OSU tech licensing. Unfortunately I didn't have my rain gear on (it wasn't supposed to rain until this afternoon!) and I got soaked.
That's me wringing out my NON-dri-socks (into my shoe) right before going into a meeting with my client.
Another useful tip--put your wallet and I-Phone in plastic sandwich bags.
On my way downtown after the meeting, I noticed the wind had shifted and was in my face. Forecast is for high winds this afternoon--if it's a tailwind it could be a fun ride on a butt rocket!
FYI--some bank drive-throughs don't object if you BIKE THROUGH (if you look closely, you can see my reflection--looking like a drowned rat--in the glass).
Remember, our BIKE BUSES start running tomorrow. You can find the routes and meeting places/departure times at www.ridenet.net. My BIKE BUS leaves Panera Bread on N. High at 7 am to head downtown. Come join me!

I tried to beat the rain in... I was just barely ahead of the storm when I caught the light at Nationwide. At least I did have my rain gear on!
